Tim Tebow offered contract with Italian side

Former New England Patriots quarterback Tim Tebow receives interest from Italian American football club the Milano Seamen.

An Italian American football team has revealed that they recently offered NFL quarterback Tim Tebow a four-month contract.

The 2007 Heisman Trophy winner has been a free agent since being released by the New England Patriots at the end of the pre-season.

Milano Seaman president Marco Mutti told The AP: "The offer has been made to his agent and now we're waiting for a response. We would be more than happy to have him."

Tebow has also had spells with the Denver Broncos and New York Jets.
