Report: Chris Snee may face season-ending hip surgery

New York Giants right guard Chris Snee may be forced to undergo season-ending surgery on his hip after tearing his labrum, according to a report.

New York Giants offensive lineman Chris Snee may reportedly have to have season-ending surgery.

The Pro Bowl guard has a tear in the labrum on his hip, which is restricting his movement, although the Giants are hopeful for a solution other than going under the knife.

A source told Newsday: "This one has the pain, but he can't move. If they don't get the joint to move again, [surgery] is probably going to be the only option.

"[There's] not a lot of improvement from the treatments. It is not looking too good right now."

The Giants are 0-4 in their season after week four.
