Hakeem Nicks: 'I would like to stay at New York Giants'

New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks insists that he wants to remain at the club after his current deal runs out at the end of the season.

New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks has revealed that he wants to remain at the club next season.

The 25-year-old is in the last year of his rookie contract and was touted as a possible trade target for clubs earlier in the campaign, but he has admitted that he likes the setup at the Giants under Tom Coughlin.

Nicks told the Newark Star-Ledger: "Players, coaches, the organisation. That's just something I want to make sure I look at. I don't want to get myself in a situation where there's a lot going on.

"This organisation is great stability wise. You don't want too many changes going on here. I like how they're always looking out for a player's best interest and things like that."

Nicks as 54 receptions for 846 yards this season, but has failed to score a touchdown.
