Victor Cruz has said that he believes Hakeem Nicks is the New York Giants' number one wide receiver.

Cruz led the team in receiving yards in 2012, while Nicks missed three games through injury.

The 26-year-old told NFL AM: "I think the number one wideout is Hakeem Nicks. I mean, he's been here longer, he understands this offense.

"He's our big-play guy, he's on the outside. So I definitely think he's our number one receiver, there's no doubt about it."

Cruz recently signed a five-year contract extension with the Giants.
