Eli Manning has said that he is looking forward to continuing to work with Victor Cruz at the New York Giants.
The wide receiver signed a five-year contract extension earlier this week, following months of negotiations.
The Giants' starting quarterback said in an email to the New York Post: "It's going to be nice to not have to answer any more questions about Victor and his contract status with the team.
"It's great to get Victor signed long-term and before the start of training camp. Obviously, he has been a big part of our offense.
"He has worked really hard on the field to become the player he is and I look forward to continuing our work together."
Cruz was on the receiving end of 10 of Manning's 26 touchdowns passes in 2012.
