Report: New Orleans Saints trade Jimmy Graham to Seattle Seahawks

A report claims that the New Orleans Saints have traded Jimmy Graham to the Seattle Seahawks for a first-round pick in the 2015 Draft and center Max Unger.

The New Orleans Saints have traded tight end Jimmy Graham to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for center Max Unger and a first-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, according to a report.

The 28-year-old has been an integral part of the Saints' offense since he was selected in the third round of the 2010 Draft, and was voted as an All-Pro in 2013 due to the high level of his displays.

However, reports suggested that the Saints were ready to part company with Graham despite his importance to their offense, as Sean Payton's men look to rebuild after missing out in the playoffs in the 2014 season.

The Saints came to an agreement with the Seahawks that will see the NFC South side send Graham and a fourth-round pick in the 2015 Draft for Unger and the 31st selection in the Draft, which is owned by Seattle, claims Fox Sports.

Graham has recorded 386 receptions for 4,752 yards and 51 touchdowns in his five seasons with the Saints.
