The New Orleans Saints have reportedly agreed to a new one-year deal with kicker Shayne Graham, which ends speculation that he will enter free agency.
The 37-year-old was signed and cut by the Pittsburgh Steelers early in the 2013 season and has played a role for the Saints since joining them later that year.
He was 19-of-22 in 2014 and will likely compete with Dustin Hopkins after New Orleans signed him to a futures deal at the end of the 2014 season.
Graham is currently ninth among active kickers with an 85.531% field goal rate, and the Saints are understood to have opted to continue to place their trust in the veteran.
