New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham has agreed to a new four-year deal with the franchise which will make him the highest-paid tight end in NFL history.
The deal is reportedly worth over £23m and surpasses the previous record contract signed by Indianapolis Colts star Dallas Clark back in 2008.
Following on from an arbitration hearing in which Graham pushed to be declared a wide receiver in order to chase a more lucrative contract, it appears as though the two parties have reached a settlement.
Graham has led all NFL players with 36 touchdown catches while averaging 90 catches, 1,169 yards and 12 touchdowns per season over the past three years.
