New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham has returned to practice but was limited on Thursday in his comeback from a sprained shoulder.
The 27-year-old set himself a target of returning within three weeks of sustaining the injury ahead of the week seven clash with the Detroit Lions.
Saints coach Sean Payton is "still optimistic" that Graham will be able to play through the injury, according to NFL.com.
New Orleans are 2-3 so far this season and they sit second in the NFC South ahead of their trip to Ford Field to take on the top-ranked defense in the NFL.
