New England Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount has revealed that he is ready to step up for his side when they take on the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl.
New England have tried out a few strategies to beat defences in the build-up to the fixture, with Blount showcasing his importance when he notched 148 yards in 30 attempts against Indianapolis Colts recently.
"That's what I need to do, get some yards," said Blount, according to the team's official website.
"I feel like I have the ability to have a big game whenever they allow me to. It's an up-and-down situation considering you have 12 on your team.
"When you have Tom [Brady] on your team he has the ability to take over an entire game."
The Pats are looking to prevent the Seahawks from winning back-to-back Super Bowl titles.
