Sebastian Vollmer to undergo season-ending surgery

New England Patriots right tackle Sebastian Vollmer will undergo season-ending surgery to repair his broken right leg.

Sebastian Vollmer has been ruled out for the rest of the 2013 NFL season with a leg fracture.

The New England Patriots right tackle will undergo surgery to repair his broken right leg after sustaining the injury during yesterday's 27-17 win over the Miami Dolphins.

The right tackle has been a regular starter since being drafted in 2009.

Marcus Cannon, who has made just one start in three seasons with the team, is expected to replace the 29-year-old.
