New England Patriots offensive lineman Logan Mankins has revealed that he is not bothered by comments made by former teammate Brandon Spikes about the club.
Spikes insinuated that he didn't enjoy his four-year spell with the Patriots just weeks after joining their AFC East rivals the Buffalo Bills, and admitted that he was desperate to beat them next season.
Mankins told reporters: "Everyone has their own opinions. Everyone likes to think they know it all. It doesn't really bother me too much. I know what we have here.
"I know the owner very well now over the years and I know our head coach, and those guys care about the team and care about winning football games. So what anyone says kind of rolls off our backs. We know what we have here."
The Patriots have lost just one of their last 21 meetings with the Bills.
