Roger Goodell: 'Tom Brady decision coming soon'

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell insists that a decision will be made soon on the appeal of Tom Brady.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has revealed that a decision on New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will be "coming soon".

Brady has lodged an appeal against his four-game suspension as part of the 'Deflategate' scandal that erupted at the end of last season.

The Patriots were stripped of their 2016 first-round Draft choice and a 2017 fourth-round pick, while also receiving a significant fine.

Brady's team argued that the penalties were inconsistent with the NFL's past disciplinary action, and fought to have their punishments reduced.

The Patriots signal-caller came across well in the appeal process, with Goodell acting as arbitrator, according to CNBC.
