Half-Time Report: All square between Atlanta Falcons, New England Patriots

The Atlanta Falcons and the New England Patriots are level in their NFL clash at the Georgia Dome at half time.

The Atlanta Falcons and the New England Patriots are level at the break in their NFL clash at the Georgia Dome.

The home side started brightly and moved downfield with quarterback Matt Ryan driving them inside the Patriots' five. However, they were forced to settle for a field goal from Matt Bryant.

New England responded as they ran the ball at the Falcons' defense and had great success before they took the lead through a Tom Brady touchdown pass to tight end Matthew Mulligan on play-action.

The Patriots extended their advantage through a Stephen Gostkowski field goal as he drilled the ball over the posts from 48 yards.

However, the Falcons hit back with 38 seconds left in the half as Ryan found tight end Tony Gonzalez in the flat and he powered over Steve Gregory to reach the end zone for a 21-yard touchdown to tie the scores.
