Michael Sam: 'NFL teams have stuck to football questions'

Former Missouri Tigers defensive end Michael Sam reveals that he has only been asked football questions at the NFL Combine in his interviews with the teams.

Former Missouri Tigers defensive end Michael Sam has revealed that every single NFL team he spoke to asked him only football-related questions in his interviews at the NFL Combine.

The 24-year-old came out earlier this month, and, if drafted in May, he will be the first openly gay player to play in the NFL.

When asked how his interviews with the NFL teams went, he told reporters: "All football questions."

He added, when asked what his role would be in the NFL: "I'm a pass-rusher. If you put me in a situation to get the quarterback, I'm going to get the quarterback."

Sam has been projected as a third to fifth round pick in the 2014 Draft.
