Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has insisted that he is nearly fully fit just three months after undergoing surgery on a sports hernia.
Peterson said that the recovery from his current injury has been nothing compared to the anterior cruciate ligament damage he has suffered in the past.
"[I'm] pretty much 100%," he told reporters. "You know, me knowing my body I'd like to be a little stronger in some areas, but I'm feeling great.
"It was a cakewalk compared to recovering from the ACL and what I had to go through to bounce back from that."
Peterson rushed for 2,097 yards last season.
