Adrian Peterson criticises power imbalance

Minnesota Vikings star Adrian Peterson criticises the power imbalance with contracts in the NFL.

Minnesota Vikings star Adrian Peterson has criticised the amount of power that teams have over their players in contracts.

Peterson unleashed 11 tweets on the matter, venting his frustration about how players need to be protected from being released with money remaining on their deals.

"I know hundreds of players that wished their team would've honoured the contract! But instead got thrown to the side like trash," Peterson tweeted.

"A little crazy how one side has so much power that they can do as they please when it come to the contract!"

Peterson later clarified his tweets, and insisted that they were not a direct attack on the Vikings and his current situation.
