New Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has revealed that he was not keen on being drafted by the Cleveland Browns this year.
The Browns were in the market for a quarterback and had a busy first round of the 2014 NFL Draft, eventually choosing Johnny Manziel with the 22nd overall pick.
Bridgewater was chosen 10 picks later with the final selection of the first round, and the former Louisville star insists that he feels "comfortable" with the Vikings.
"There was a chance [the Browns would pick me], but I actually told my agent that's not the place where I wanted to be," Bridgewater told The Dan Patrick Show.
"Throughout this entire process I felt comfortable with the Minnesota Vikings. Every visit that I had with the team, you know, there was a family environment and the players, great guys. A great group of guys. So I felt comfortable wanting to play here."
The Vikings also chose Anthony Barr in the first round of the Draft, taking the linebacker ninth overall.
