Ryan Tannehill: 'There are no issues with Mike Wallace'

Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill is adamant that he and his teammates have no issues with wide receiver Mike Wallace.

Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill has insisted that he has no problem with wide receiver Mike Wallace.

Wallace reportedly alienated himself from his teammates when he decided to sit out the second half of his side's last game of the season against the New York Jets.

As a result of the 28-year-old's behaviour, speculation suggested that the club were looking to trade the wideout, but Tannehill has refuted those claims, and is adamant that there are no issues between Wallace and the team.

"I like Mike," Tannehill told the Miami Herald. "I've spoken to him, yes. It was great. [We] cleared the air."

The quarterback also revealed that he had no problem with the decision of the team to release veteran receivers Brandon Gibson and Brian Hartline.

"I just work on what I can do," Tannehill added. "I think the front office is doing a good job of evaluating the team and trying to put the best team on the field."

The Dolphins posted an 8-8 record last season as they missed out on the playoffs for the sixth season in a row.
