Miami Dolphins wide receiver Mike Wallace and general manager Dennis Hickey have reportedly met to discuss the player's future with the club.
The 28-year-old put his career with the Dolphins in doubt when he removed himself from the starting lineup during the final game of the season after a disagreement with the team's coaching staff.
Hickey moved to speak with Wallace to resolve the differences between the parties, which may have smoothed the working relationship ahead of preparations for the 2015 season, reports The Miami Herald.
The receiver recorded 67 receptions for 862 yards and 10 touchdowns in the 2014 season.
