Several players at the Miami Dolphins reportedly want offensive coordinator Mike Sherman to be fired by the club.
The Dolphins missed the playoffs as they fell to two straight defeats in their final regular season games to AFC East rivals Buffalo Bills and New York Jets.
Sherman came under fire for his play-calling in the losses as Joe Philbin's side struggled to run the ball effectively, and owner Stephen Ross is holding him accountable after players made their feelings known to him, reports ProFootballTalk.com.
The Dolphins finished third in the AFC East with a 8-8 record in the 2013 season.
