Brian Hartline the latest Dolphin to defend Richie Incognito

Brian Hartline says that Jonathan Martin at first 'laughed off' harassing voicemails from Miami Dolphins teammate Richie Incognito.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brian Hartline has become to latest player on the team to back Richie Incognito, following the harassment allegations against him this week.

On Wednesday, quarterback Ryan Tannehill labelled Incognito a 'great teammate' following his suspension from the team after his recent conduct towards fellow offensive lineman Jonathan Martin.

However, Hartline has now claimed that Martin at first 'laughed off' a voicemail message from Incognito, which he later used against him to get him suspended from the team.

Hartline told NFL.com: "Martin was laughing about this voicemail at one point in time, first of all. Secondly, I believe that if you look through the whole voice mail, there's some things said that you probably shouldn't say in general, friends or not friends.

"But I know for a fact, that I've said things to my friends that I kind of wish I've never said to, either."

Hartline and Martin have been teammates since the latter arrived in Miami following the 2012 NFL Draft.
