Half-Time Report: Dan Carpenter kicks Buffalo Bills ahead

Buffalo Bills kicker Dan Carpenter adds three field goals to put them 9-0 up against the Miami Dolphins.

Former Miami Dolphins kicker Dan Carpenter made three field goals to leave the Buffalo Bills 9-0 up on his old team at half time in their NFL meeting.

EJ Manuel tried to pick out rookie wide receiver Sammy Watkins for a touchdown early on, but the home side had to settle for a Dan Carpenter field goal.

The Dolphins tried to respond through a Knowshon Moreno run, but the running back injured his wrist while scrambling, while Ryan Tannehill failed to find Mike Wallace with a long pass.

The hosts continued to get the ball down field, but Manuel could not connect with his receivers for a touchdown, leaving Carpenter to add another two field goals.
