Jacksonville Jaguars to bring NFL Draft to London

The Jacksonville Jaguars reveal that they will announce two picks in the 2015 NFL Draft from London, the first time the annual event has moved outside of the USA.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have revealed that they will announce two of their 2015 NFL Draft picks from London.

The English capital will become the first city outside of the USA to play a part in the annual event, with the Jaguars running a competition on www.nfluk.com to find a UK-based fan to announce their sixth and seventh-round picks.

The Jaguars have become regulars in London and are committed to playing one home game at Wembley every season until 2016.

"We are so excited to provide our fans in the US and abroad with an exciting opportunity to be part of the NFL Draft and introduce everyone to our newest Jacksonville Jaguars," read a statement from club president Mark Lamping.

"Additionally, we are also equally thrilled to be the first team in the league to bring the NFL Draft to the international market in London."

The announcement, which will be broadcast live on Sky Sports News in the UK and the NFL Network in the United States, will take place on May 2.

The Jaguars chose quarterback Blake Bortles with the third overall pick in last year's Draft and once again have the third pick this year having finished the 2014 campaign with a 3-13 record.
