The Indianapolis Colts have added David Sims to their roster heading into the off-season.
The safety featured in 12 games with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2012, but was released ahead of the start of the 2013 campaign.
The 27-year-old, who was an undrafted free agent in 2011, also had spells with the New York Giants and Cleveland Browns earlier in his career.
Seventeen of the Colts' current players are due to become unrestricted free agents next month.
