Andrew Luck: 'We cannot just focus on the New England Patriots'

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck admits that his side cannot put all their attention for the 2015 season into beating the New England Patriots.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has insisted that his side cannot just focus on beating the New England Patriots in the 2015 season.

The 25-year-old has failed to beat Bill Belichick's men in four attempts since entering the league in 2012, including the AFC championship game in the last campaign.

However, Luck is adamant that the Colts have to approach all their opponents with equal attention to ensure that they reach the post-season again in the 2015 season.

"The Patriots are obviously the defending Super Bowl champs and our defending conference champs so there's a high amount of respect for that team and what they do," Luck told BritViewNFL.com.

"They're the kings of the league right now and everybody would like to de-throne them - we'd like to de-throne them but you have to look at the season as 16 games.

"There are fans and media who will hype up certain games and circle them in red on the calendar but, as a player, you lose sight of what's important if you get into that mode."

Chuck Pagano's men face the Patriots on October 18 at Lucas Oil Stadium.
