Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has been described as a "different breed" by Frank Gore.
The running back has spent his entire career with the San Francisco 49ers but has moved to the Colts to revitalise his career.
Gore believes that the Colts' offence is as talented as any 49ers team he has played in, and insists that Luck is an outstanding player.
He told NFL Media: "I think if we keep working and keep going and get that gelled, I think by far it can. Especially with No. 12, man. I'm not knocking my other quarterbacks, I respect them other guys, but being around this guy a couple months, he's a different breed.
"He's smart. He makes me feel young. He runs the huddle. I never had that."
The Colts start the new season against the Buffalo Bills.
