The Indianapolis Colts have announced that they have signed Mike Adams ahead of the start of their minicamp next week.
The safety had been a free agent after spending the last three campaigns with the Denver Broncos, where he played all 16 regular season games last year.
Adams will provide depth at the position after Corey Lynch was ruled out for the 2014 NFL season with an undisclosed injury.
The 34-year-old made 60 tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery in 2013.
