Houston Texans coach Gary Kubiak has admitted that he was disappointed with his side's performance despite beating the San Diego Chargers yesterday.
The Texans were 21 points behind their opponents with less than five minutes remaining in the third quarter but scored three touchdowns and a last-gasp field goal to ultimately clinch a dramatic 31-28 victory.
Kubiak was pleased with the way his side fought back from such a heavy deficit, but was unhappy with their general performance, particularly their start to the match.
"I expected us to be in a dogfight. I'm disappointed with the way we played early, but we did not give up," Kubiak told The AP.
"We were mature enough to hang in there and get the win, so we have to be mature enough to know that we didn't play very well."
The Texans will play their first home match of the season when they take on the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
