Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak has revealed that he is open to changing his side's quarterback if their current situation worsens.
Starting quarterback Matt Schaub has thrown four interceptions that were run back for touchdowns by the opposition in an NFL record for four consecutive games.
He threw three more picks in his side's 34-3 defeat to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday before being replaced by backup TJ Yates late in the contest.
"I can promise you there's accountability," Kubiak told the Houston Chronicle. "If I think on our football team something needs to be done, then I'll do it."
The Texans are 2-3 in their season after week five.
