Green Bay Packers beat Chicago Bears to win NFC North title

The Green Bay Packers have secured the NFC North title with a dramatic win against the Chicago Bears.

Jay Cutler capped an 80-yard drive with a short pass for Matt Forte to give the Bears a late lead in the first quarter.

Mason Crosby got the Packers going with a 33-yard field goal in the second, before a moment of contention saw the visitors go ahead for the first time.

Aaron Rodgers was hot from behind by Julius Peppers, causing the ball to squirm loose. Jarrett Boykin retrieved it and, at the behest of the coaching staff, ran it into the endzone.

The Bears wiped out their opponents' advantage early in the third quarter as running back Matt Forte darted into the endzone from five yards.

However, the Packers were ahead again minutes later as Randall Cobb reached high to bring the ball in for the score.

Forte came back again, however, as he managed to force his way over from one yard for his third touchdown of the match.

The Bears then took an eight-point lead when Brandon Marshall reached a five yard pass from Cutler at the start of the fourth quarter.

However, the Packers refused to back down and Eddie Lacy went over after a six-yard run. A late win was secured when Rodgers threw a 46-yard pass to Cobb, who had loads of space for his second touchdown.
