The Green Bay Packers have confirmed that they have signed free agent defensive end Julius Peppers.
The 34-year-old was released by the Packers' NFC North rivals the Chicago Bears earlier this week due to his high salary cap number for the 2014 season.
Now, Peppers has signed a reported three-year deal with Mike McCarthy's side worth $30m (£18m).
"That's the most important thing. I haven't won a championship. That's where my focus is. I feel like the team is set up to make a run and I feel I can help get it there," Peppers told the club's official website.
"I have a lot left in the tank. I have a lot left to give, a lot left to offer. I want to show people I can still play the game at a high level."
Peppers has been in the NFL since the 2002 season.
