Brandon Marshall has said that the Chicago Bears' game against the Green Bay Packers is not a must-win fixture.
The Bears have not beaten their NFC North rivals since 2010, the year that the Packers went on to win the Super Bowl.
When asked by reporters if the team has to win this game, the wide receiver said: "No, no. The reason I say that is because we approach every game as saying every game is important.
"Our team doesn't panic, we didn't panic when [starting quarterback] Jay [Cutler] went down. So this is a resilient bunch and I think we face adversity pretty well."
Head coach Marc Trestman added: "It's only one game. I think we all understand the effect it would have in the standings at this stage in the season, but there's still a whole season to play afterwards."
The team's meet at Lambeau Field on Monday night.
