Green Bay Packers' Randall Cobb: "I don't plan on missing a game"

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb is adamant that he will not miss his side's 2015 season opener against the Chicago Bears, despite his shoulder injury.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb has insisted that he will not be sidelined because of his shoulder injury.

The 25-year-old sustained an AC joint sprain in his side's pre-season defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles last week, which may have put his availability for week one in doubt.

However, Cobb is adamant that he will be on the field for his side's 2015 season opener against the Chicago Bears on September 13.

"I don't plan on missing a game," Cobb told reporters. "I'm doing everything in my power to get back before then, but we still don't know severity.

"We've still got to get a lot of the swelling out. It definitely is a lot better then what we all thought it was in the beginning."

The Packers are already without All-Pro wideout Jordy Nelson for the season due to a torn ACL.
