Calvin Johnson remains confident in ability

Detroit Lions star Calvin Johnson insists that he has plenty left to give despite his advancing years.

Detroit Lions receiver Calvin Johnson has insisted that he remains confident in his ability, and believes he has plenty left to offer.

Johnson counts against the cap significantly for the Lions next season, which in turn has led to questions over whether or not he is worth the money.

"No doubt," he told The Detroit Free Press.

"What did I miss, four, almost five games last year? Still came up with just over 1,000 [yards]. I still have some [good years] left."

The 30-year-old registered over 1,000 yards for the fifth straight season last year, despite playing in only 13 games for Detroit.
