Detroit Lions' Stephen Tulloch out for the 2014 campaign

Detroit Lions linebacker Stephen Tulloch is out for the 2014 season with a torn ACL he sustained while celebrating in his side's win over the Green Bay Packers.

The Detroit Lions have announced that linebacker Stephen Tulloch will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL.

The injury occurred when Tulloch celebrated a first-quarter sack of Aaron Rodgers in his side's 19-7 victory over the Green Bay Packers.

"Unfortunately, I got up in celebration and it happened," Tulloch told reporters. "But I ain't embarrassed by nothing. We all celebrate when we make a play."

The 29-year-old recorded 20 tackles and two sacks for the Lions this season.
