The Buccaneers led at half-time through a Dallas Clark touchdown and Connor Barth field goal.

Denver were dominant in the third quarter, Demaryius Thomas catching two Peyton Manning touchdown passes, before Von Miller intercepted a punt for the Broncos' fourth touchdown of the game.

Tampa Bay had the better of the play in the fourth quarter, but were unable to overturn the Broncos' lead, losing 31-23.

As well as securing the AFC West for the Broncos, the result also sees the Atlanta Falcons crowned NFC South champions.

The Buccaneers remain in the hunt for a wildcard place.
