Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie has said that he chose to sign with the Denver Broncos because they highlighted his flaws.
The cornerback agreed to join the AFC West champions earlier this year after coming to the end of his contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.
The 27-year-old told the Bradenton Herald: "They told me about my flaws. Nobody had done that, and it impressed me.
"They told me what I needed to work and how they would get me better instead of telling me about what I could do."
Rodgers-Cromartie made 51 tackles and three interceptions for the Eagles last season.
