Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning believes that the team knows how to handle the problems that have arose during this off-season.

Peyton Manning has said that the Denver Broncos know how to "handle" their off-season problems.

The AFC West champions have had a difficult couple of months, losing defensive end Elvis Dumervil because of an administrative error and suspending two executives following drink-driving arrests, while linebacker Von Miller continues to appeal against a four-game suspension.

The quarterback said during a press conference: "Am I disappointed? Well, I'm sure you would like to not have those problems. Most players would tell you that. But that's football, and we know how to handle it.

"This is when you find out who sticks with you when times are tough. Who is going to jump ship? It's easy when you're rolling along on an 11-game winning streak, everything is going good. You have some adversity come your way, how do you respond, how do you handle it?"

Manning joined the Broncos last year after spending the first 14 seasons of his career with the Indianapolis Colts.
