John Elway: 'Denver Broncos' start to season is exciting'

Denver Broncos executive John Elway says that the team have made an exciting start to the 2013 NFL season.

John Elway has described the Denver Broncos' start to the 2013 NFL season as "exciting".

The AFC West side are unbeaten so far this year, while quarterback Peyton Manning has set a new league record for the most touchdown passes in the first four games of the season.

The club's executive vice president of football operations told the team's website: "Obviously it's exciting to be able to score 52 points. Now you have to look at it, 14 of those were on special teams, so offensively we only scored 38. But it's exciting to be 4-0 and get through the first quarter of the season.

"Everyone realises where we are. We have a long way to go but we have another chance to go get better against a Dallas Cowboys team that's a pretty good football team."

Manning has completed 1,470 passing yards and 16 touchdown passes so far this season.
