Champ Bailey has said that he feels "pretty confident" of playing against the New England Patriots this weekend.
The Denver Broncos cornerback, who is officially listed as questionable, has missed the last three games with a foot injury.
The 35-year-old told reporters: "I got a good week of practice in, feel pretty confident about going forward. I just need to make sure I'm all the way there, mentally and physically.
"I'm aware of who we're playing every week, but if I'm not feeling good enough to play, I'm not playing. I can't do that to my body and I can't do that to my team because I won't be 100%. It's just the way it is, got to deal with it."
Bailey has featured in just two games for the AFC West side so far this season, making eight tackles.
