Emmanuel Sanders still sidelined by hamstring

Emmanuel Sanders remains sidelined with a hamstring injury that threatens to force him to miss the entire pre-season for the Denver Broncos.

Denver Broncos star Emmanuel Sanders is still suffering from a hamstring injury that has kept him sidelined through training camp.

The wide receiver has not practised in nearly three weeks, and could miss the entire pre-season with the problem.

"Injuries are always a frustrating thing," Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning told reporters, when asked about Sanders.

"They are a part of football. Emmanuel is a competitive guy that wants to be out there and wants to have a great year to help our team this year. Obviously when he is healthy, I know he will be out there and I know he will be ready to go."

Coach Gary Kubiak revealed that he is hopeful Sanders can do some light work before Sunday's pre-season match with the San Francisco 49ers.
