Dallas Cowboys sign quarterback Caleb Hanie

The Dallas Cowboys add another quarterback to their roster, signing ex-Cleveland Browns man Caleb Hanie.

The Dallas Cowboys have completed the signing of veteran quarterback Caleb Hanie on a one-year deal.

Hanie becomes the second signal caller to sign for the Cowboys this off-season, following the capture of Brandon Weeden last month.

Tony Romo will remain the team's number one choice, but last season's backup Kyle Orton is considering retirement.

Orton's position has led the Cowboys to sign Hanie, who spent last season with the Cleveland Browns. He previously played for the Chicago Bears, who picked him up as an undrafted free agent in 2008.
