Jerry Jones: 'Dez Bryant could return against New York Giants'

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant could return from injury against the New York Giants on Sunday, according to owner Jerry Jones.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has suggested that Dez Bryant could return from injury against the New York Giants on Sunday.

Bryant was forced to undergo surgery on a broken foot last month after picking up the injury on the opening day of the season, and the initial timetable for his rehabilitation was put at four to six weeks by the Cowboys.

It remains unclear when the 26-year-old will be fully fit, but Jones refused to rule him out of the game against the Giants.

"I don't know what 100% means in this particular case," Jones told 105.3 The Fan. "100% healed? 100% from the standpoint of no sensation, no sensitivity? I don't think you would have no sensitivity.

"But I do think that the combination of all the work he's done, which has been extraordinary, as well as some of the additional procedures that were done, give us a lot of confidence that, if he's comfortable putting it down and driving off on his foot, then we're comfortable with him playing."

The Cowboys are 2-3 for the season after losing their last three games.
