Johnny Manziel: "My lifestyle has changed dramatically"

Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel claims that he has altered his lifestyle since joining the club.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel has insisted that he has changed his lifestyle since being selected by the club in the first round of the NFL Draft earlier this year.

Manziel was renowned for his partying antics during his time with the Texas A&M Aggies in college, which carried over to his first few months with the Browns.

A Cleveland fan claimed last week that he was assaulted by a member of Manziel's entourage while trying to talk to the 22-year-old when he was out at 2.30am last week, but the quarterback has refuted these allegations and claims that he barely has time to go out in the city.

"For me, I feel since I've been here, my lifestyle has changed dramatically," Manziel told reporters. "I think me, I'm usually in my home, not venturing out very much and I don't get a lot of time to go out and see much of Cleveland.

"So one night that I did get a chance to go out and did stay out a little later on a decision that I made on my own I felt at the time was OK. I know there's other guys around the league and other guys in this locker room that do the same thing and enjoy their time when they're out of the building.

"I know that at night when I go to bed I need to make sure that I'm ready and capable of going to work the next day and doing my job to the duties that I have being in this building the next day."

Manziel has served as the backup quarterback for the Browns this season, behind Brian Hoyer.
