Half-Time Report: Atlanta Falcons lead Cleveland Browns by one point

Jacquizz Rodgers strikes in the final minute of the half to hand the Atlanta Falcons a 14-13 half-time lead over the Cleveland Browns at the Georgia Dome.

The Atlanta Falcons scored in the final minute of the half to take a narrow 14-13 lead into the break of their NFL clash against the Cleveland Browns at the Georgia Dome.

The hosts struck first in the opening quarter as Matt Ryan peeled away into space before firing a 24-yard pass down the middle to Julio Jones, who crossed the line for his first touchdown in eight games.

Cleveland hit back before the quarter was out, however, restoring parity through Isaiah Crowell, who weaved his way into the endzone for an 11-yard touchdown.

They had a chance to move into the lead when Joe Haden picked off a Ryan pass for his second interception of the season, and Billy Cundiff ensured that they came away with points courtesy of a 33-yard field goal.

The Browns had possession again shortly afterwards, but once more they were limited to three points as Cundiff converted his second kick of the match.

It was the Falcons who would have the last laugh of the half as Ryan threw his second touchdown pass of the evening, finding Jacquizz Rodgers with an eight-yard score with less than a minute remaining.
