The Cincinnati Bengals beat the Baltimore Ravens, with both sides using a number of backup players ahead of next week's playoffs.

The Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals both rested starters in their final game of the season, which saw the Bengals win 23-17.

Both sides had already sealed their places in the playoffs, with the Ravens winning the AFC North, and the Bengals clinching a wildcard spot.

John Harbaugh pulled quarterback Joe Flacco and running back Ray Rice out of the game early in the tie, while Andy Dalton and wideout A.J. Green were benched for the Bengals in the second half.

The game was close throughout, an interception returned for a touchdown by Carlos Dunlap sealing the win for Cincinnati in the fourth quarter.

Baltimore face a home tie against the Indianapolis Colts in the playoffs next weekend, while the Bengals travel to the Houston Texans.
