Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson has revealed that he is delighted with the ability of quarterback Andy Dalton.
The 26-year-old has been the club's starter for the past three seasons and guided them to the playoffs in every campaign, but is yet to record a victory in the post-season.
Despite his troubles in the playoffs, Jackson believes that Dalton has the quality needed to be a top-tier quarterback.
He told the club's official website: "[He is] spectacular. [It is] the first time I've been able to work with him hands on. He has all the characteristics I like in a quarterback.
"He's smart, he comes to work prepared and ready to go, and he comes to the practice field ready to compete. He can make all the necessary throws. I haven't seen any throw he can't make."
Jackson was hired as the Bengals' new offensive coordinator earlier in the off-season following the departure of Jay Gruden.
