Half-Time Report: Cincinnati Bengals ahead against Houston Texans

Mohamed Sanu scores a first-half touchdown to lead the Cincinnati Bengals to a 9-3 lead over the Houston Texans.

The Cincinnati Bengals have headed into half time with a narrow 9-3 lead over the Houston Texans in their game at Reliant Stadium this evening.

After a slow start to the first quarter, it was Cincinnati who opened the scoring when Andy Dalton completed a short pass to Mohamed Sanu.

AJ Green thought that he had added a second touchdown for the Bengals when he caught the ball out wide, but the officials ruled the pass incomplete.

Texans running back Alfred Blue lined up a punt return in the second quarter, but was brought down in the endzone to give the Bengals a safety.

The home side did get off the mark just before the break as Randy Bullock kicked a field goal after Andre Johnson came up short with a run down the sideline.
