The Chicago Bears have announced that they have placed cornerback Charles Tillman on their injured reserve - designated to return list.
Tillman sustained a triceps injury during his side's defeat to the Detroit Lions on Sunday and will be out for multiple weeks, adding to the plethora of injuries on the Bears' defense.
The 32-year-old told the club's official website: "It hurts. I'm definitely sad. We have a lot of potential. My role is now to be the biggest cheerleader I can."
Marc Trestman's side are 5-4 in their season and are third in the NFC North after week 10.
